MakeFluent was developed to meet a significant need: helping English learners achieve fluency and prepare effectively for the IELTS exam. For many learners, English fluency is a key step towards accessing broader opportunities. MakeFluent combines AI-driven, interactive practice with tailored feedback to make this journey measurable, manageable, and motivating. This case study outlines our process, the challenges we identified, and how we’re addressing them.
Problem Statements
Language learners aiming for IELTS certification often face significant challenges, including the high cost of mock exams and a lack of personalized feedback. Without affordable, effective practice tools, many users struggle to identify specific areas for improvement or to feel confident about their progress. Existing language tools rarely address these needs, leaving learners uncertain about their exam readiness and unable to efficiently target weaknesses.
